Housing Commissioner Kumar Pal Gautam announced on Friday that the state government’s 100-day action plan includes the initiation of schemes for approximately 3,000 houses and flats, aiming to provide affordable housing for the common people. Presiding over a meeting at the divisional headquarters, Gautam emphasised the commitment to ensuring quality housing for various sections, especially focusing on the low-income group.
Gautam issued specific instructions to engineers, urging them to design action plans for housing schemes with a central focus on the needs of the weaker sections. He directed the immediate commencement of housing projects across all areas of the state, particularly at divisional headquarters, to ensure that quality housing is accessible to all residents.
The meeting addressed plans for 2,994 independent houses and flats across various districts, including Jaipur, Jodhpur, Bhiwadi, Hanumangarh, Dholpur, Banswara, Nagaur, Sirohi, and Ajmer. Chief Engineer Headquarters Manoj Gupta, Chief Engineer First Amit Aggarwal, Chief Engineer Second Bhajan Lal Gunpal, Chief Estate Manager Deepali Bhagotia, along with senior officers and engineers, were present to discuss and strategize the implementation of the housing schemes.
