A meeting of the BJP’s National Working Committee (NWC) was held in the national capital on Sunday. The political issue of Bengal came up in a very significant manner in the meeting. BJP all-India president JP Nadda emphasized on West Bengal there. He raised the issue of Bengal several times.
JP Nadda said, “53 of our workers have been killed. People are still hiding there for fear. ”
Recently, there were allegations against the ruling party in Bengal that people of the party are being vaccinated selectively. Yesterday, even on that issue, Shanan, the all-India president of the BJP, launched a scathing attack on the ruling party in West Bengal. He condemned such incidents. At the same time, his sent a clear message to inspire the party leaders and workers of Bengal: “We will fight more for the upliftment of the people of Bengal and the state.”
The CBI has already filed four charge sheets in the post-poll violence case. Later the number of charge sheets increased to 5. The number of the registered cases has also seen a surge.
The CBI has filed 3 more FIRs, and the number of cases has increased to 35. A total of 64 investigating officers or IOs, including inspectors and DSPs, are investigating the post-poll violence. Besides, there are 25 leaders in this team. These 25 officers comprise the ranks of Joint Director, DIG, SP.
The CBI had on August 28 filed 11 FIRs in 15 murder and six rape cases in the state. FIRs are filed on multiple charges like murder, attempted murder, illegal possession of firearms, kidnapping, intrusion. The Central Intelligence Agency has already submitted a status report in a sealed envelope to the High Court in the investigation of the violence case.
This meeting of the BJP is very significant because next year there are assembly elections in 5 states including Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Punjab. In the meantime, the Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections have been a bird’s eye view, because the results of these elections can be used to predict the pace of the 2023 Lok Sabha elections. Though initially scheduled to attend through virtual media, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also arrived in Delhi realizing the importance of the meeting.
According to political analysts, next year’s assembly elections in these five states are going to be a litmus test for each party. And from there, the BJP will definitely want to test its strength. That is why today’s meeting may have a detailed discussion on electoral tactics and propaganda. It is believed that the Prime Minister himself can give multiple suggestions on the election.
