In the aftermath of the Lok Sabha election results, Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni congratulated Narendra Modi for securing his third term as prime minister on Wednesday.
Further, she also declared her confidence, on future collaboration for strengthening the bond between Italy & India and will continue to work on various common issues, that is focusing on their respective nation’s well-being.
Taking to X, she said, Congratulations to @narendramodi for the new electoral victory and my warmest wishes for good work. I am Certain that we will continue to work together to strengthen the friendship that unites Italy and India and consolidate cooperation on the various issues that bind us, for the well-being of our Nations and our peoples.’

Besides Meloni, several foreign leaders including Nepal PM Pranchanda, Sri Lankan President Ranil Wickremesinghe, and Mauritian Prime Minister Pravind Jugnauth and Mauritius president Mohammed Muizzu etc. also congratulated PM Modi for his win.
Earlier, in the aftermath of results announcement, Prime minister Narendra Modi taking to X, declared, that victory of BJP led NDA reflects the resolve of Viksit Bharat, principle of Sabka Sath Sabka Vikas, and faith in Indian constitution.
