Israel’s military announced the death of a Hezbollah commander, identified as Abu Ali Rida, in an operation conducted within Lebanon. Rida was reportedly responsible for orchestrating rocket and anti-tank missile attacks against Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) troops in the Baraachit area of southern Lebanon.

In an operational update shared via its official Telegram channel, the IDF stated that its forces are engaged in ongoing, targeted raids in southern Lebanon aimed at dismantling terrorist infrastructure, locating weapons, and eliminating terrorist threats.

The military actions have led to significant displacement within Lebanon, with reports from local authorities indicating that more than 2,800 individuals have lost their lives due to Israeli strikes. Concurrently, tens of thousands of Israelis in the northern regions of the country have also been forced from their homes due to persistent rocket fire from Hezbollah and other anti-Israeli factions operating from Lebanon.
