The Israeli Air Force reported that fighter jets attacked Hamas operatives and destroyed their military outposts as Israel’s counteroffensive against the terrorist organization entered its seventh day. According to the Israeli Air Force, fighter jets targeted homes used by Hamas operatives, including a “Nakhba” (naval commando operative)’shome. Additionally, the Israeli Air Force disclosed that the warplanes attacked a Hamas monitoring facility that was once used to keep tabs on the operations of Israeli forces.
Taking to X, Israeli Air Force stated, “IAF fighter jets struck five residences operationally used by Hamas terror operatives, including the residence of a “Nukhba” (Naval Commando) operative, a terror operative of the “resistance committee”, and an additional Hamas operations residence, where Yahya Sinwar’s brother was presumably present.”
“IAF fighter jets also struck a Hamas monitoring situation room that monitored and traced IAF activity. As part of the strike, two terror operatives were targeted in the situation room,” it added.
Israeli Air Force personnel are still fighting valiantly, according to a post they shared on X. “The Israeli Air Force fighters, both regular and reserve, fight with tenacity, bravery, and vigor,” it read. Maintain a high state of readiness across the board for both defense and offense until all Israeli citizens can live in peace. Israeli Defense Forces reported that the Flotilla 13 elite unit, which was stationed in the vicinity of the Gaza security fence, managed to free about 250 hostages alive and neutralize more than 60 terrorists.
