Israeli Airstrikes Continue, Hitting Hezbollah and Hamas Targets

The Israel Air Force bombed a number of residences of the terrorist group Hamas’ leaders as well as several operational headquarters on Monday in retaliation for the Hamas attack in Israel. Israel Air Force claims to have also struck a three-story building housing a Hamas naval force senior commander named Muhammad Kashta’s headquarters.

The Air Force also destroyed a terrorist organization’s operational asset in the Jabaliya area; it was located just next to a mosque. The Israel Air Force announced the development on social media, writing, “The Air Force bombed a building where members of the terrorist group Hamas were lodging. Several operational headquarters of the terrorist group were struck at the same time, including one with three stories and one connected to Muhammad Kashta, the commander-in-chief of the top Hamas naval unit. Additionally, a mosque in the Jabaliya neighborhood served as the location of a Hamas operational asset, which was demolished.

Hamas carried off a “surprise attack” on Israel on Saturday, sending a barrage of rockets into the southern and central regions of the nation. This marked a significant escalation in the conflict.

The Times of Israel cited Hebrew media sources in reporting that more than 700 people have died in Israel since Hamas started its offensive.
Numerous police officers and troops were also slain in the attack.
The Times of Israel reported quoting officials that several Israelis were kidnapped in Gaza.

Earlier, the Israel Air Force launched an extremely potent and deadly air strike in reprisal, using scores of fighter jets to target the Hamas terrorists’ strongholds in the Gaza Strip. In a previous post by IAF, it said that their jets struck the military headquarters belonging to the Hamas group and were used by the organization for recent operations.

More than 24 hours after Hamas launched rocket attacks followed by an unprecedented ground assault, firefights between forces and terrorists were ongoing in Kfar Aza, close to the Gaza border. The IDF was attempting to neutralise all terrorists still present, The Times of Israel reported.

According to Article 40 of Basic Law: The Government, Israel’s security cabinet approved the war situation and took significant military steps, the Israel Prime Minister’s Office reported on X.The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office claimed that the war was precipitated by a “terrorist assault from the Gaza Strip” that began on Saturday at 6 a.m. local time.

Benjamin Netanyahu, the Israeli prime minister, warned Hamas on October 7 that it had started a horrific war and that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) would use all of its might to weaken it.
