The Health Department’s findings expose discrepancies in Haryana’s government hospitals. According to the report, 24 doctors stationed in civil hospitals have established their private medical facilities, diverting patients from the Civil Hospital to their own establishments.

Additionally, there are reports of inappropriate conduct by doctors towards patients in several hospitals, and some doctors in a civil hospital are allegedly accepting payments for surgeries.
The Joint Director (Administration) of the Health Department has issued a letter to all civil surgeons instructing them to take action against doctors involved in irregularities. The letter includes the names of doctors and hospitals implicated.

Among the 11 hospitals in Haryana facing health facility deficiencies, there is an absence of ultrasound services in Narayangarh, Dadri, Jind, Assandh, Nilokheri, Kalanaur, Meham, Sirsa, Dabwali, Ellenabad, and Sonipat. Additionally, 25 general hospitals lack MRI facilities in various locations.

The report reveals instances of doctors’ tardiness at Civil Hospital Dadri, where lab technicians direct patients to an unapproved lab. Complaints about the behaviour of doctors in Bhiwani, Charkhi Dadri, Hisar, Hansi, Kaithal, Panchkula, and Sonipat Civil Hospitals are noted.

Issues in Civil Hospital Palwal involve doctors accepting money for surgeries. The report identifies 24 doctors who have opened private hospitals under their spouses’ names, engaging in joint private practices.

Doctors in Ambala, Charkhi Dadri, Ballabhgarh, Faridabad, Fatehabad, Gurugram, Hisar, Hansi, Jind, and other districts are mentioned. The report also lists 12 doctors referring patients to private hospitals, including Arpita Garg in Ambala, Dr. Shivam Kumar and Dr. Manoj Kumar in Charkhi Dadri, and others. Haryana Civil Medical Association President Rajesh Khayaliya criticizes the public naming of doctors without proper investigation, suggesting it is a tactic to exert pressure.
