Mustafizur Rahman, the standout bowler for the Chennai Super Kings in this season’s Indian Premier League (IPL), bid adieu to the team as his No Objection Certificate (NOC) expired.

Taking to Instagram, he conveyed a heartfelt message to CSK’s iconic figure, MS Dhoni. Sharing a snapshot of them both donning CSK jerseys, Mustafizur expressed his gratitude with a message on the jersey reading “With luv to Fizz.”

He thanked Dhoni for his invaluable advice and unwavering belief in him, cherishing the experience of sharing the dressing room with the legendary cricketer and eagerly anticipating future encounters on the field.

Originally slated to expire on April 30, Mustafizur’s NOC was extended until May 1 to enable him to participate in CSK’s match against Punjab Kings. Throughout the ongoing IPL season, he showcased his prowess in nine matches, amassing 14 wickets with an economy rate of 9.26 and a bowling average of 22.71.

Notably, his best performance yielded figures of 4/29. With his stellar IPL showing, Mustafizur emerges as a potential linchpin for Bangladesh in the forthcoming T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies, commencing on June 1. Bangladesh will fine-tune their squad for the prestigious event through a five-match T20I series against Zimbabwe, kicking off at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium in Chittagong.
