Australia all-rounder Cameron Green was a sensation even before he played for Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Indian Premier League (IPL). In Hyderabad, the stage was also ready for him to shine on Tuesday, and he more than lived up to expectations, doing the majority of the damage with the bat.

Green entered the IPL with a lot of anticipation after being purchased by MI for the astronomical sum of Rs 17.50.

And on Tuesday, it wasn’t just about Green making his grand entrance; it was also about defending his price tag and teasing the fans about what to expect from the 23-year-old.

Green entered the game at number three and scored an unbeaten 64 whilst finishing with numbers of 1/29 from four overs. Green’s performance was undoubtedly one to remember, but he is being realistic about his expectations. There is no cause to be, either.

“I believe that our squad and I had a learning curve throughout the first few games. I was in a little bit of a pickle (when I went out to bat). But I’m happy the plans worked out. With regard to my death-row bowling, I’m still developing. At the post-game awards ceremony, Green exuded confidence. “Obviously, we can keep up the winning momentum.”

In addition to Green, Arjun Tendulkar also commands attention.

Not just Cameron Green, but other MI celebrities, rose to the challenge. The son of cricket great Sachin Tendulkar, Arjun Tendulkar, finally made an impression in the IPL by taking his first-ever wicket in the lucrative competition.

Arjun had been a member of the MI setup in 2021 and 2022, but the 23-year-old’s opportunity to shine has just come this year.

Sachin Tendulkar also tweeted about this winning he twitted A superb all-round performance by Mumbai Indians once again. Cameron Green impressed with both bat & ball. Ishan & Tilak’s batting is as good as it gets! The IPL is getting more interesting every day. Great going boys! And finally a Tendulkar has an IPL wicket! #SRHvMI

Tuesday, with SRH needing 20 runs off of six balls, Arjun was tasked with bowling the final over of the game.

The SRH hitter was run out the very next ball when Hrithik Shokeen precisely timed a throw to Ishan Kishan, who whipped off the bails. He started with a low full toss to Abdul Samad that resulted in a dot ball.

The new hitter was Mayank Markande, and in the third ball of the over, Markande was successful with a brace.

Even though it was clear by the end that MI would win the game, SRH still needed 16 runs off the final three balls. Arjun provided the match’s decisive blow by removing Bhuvneshwar Kumar and winning the game.

Bhuvneshwar was bowled a longer ball by Arjun, who then released it. Bhuvneshwar attempted to run down the wicket, but instead received an outside edge to Rohit Sharma at extra cover, who finished the catch.

Arjun’s cricket career has a long way to go, but it would be an incredible sensation to start off with the ball in the IPL.

“Obviously, getting my first IPL wicket was fantastic. I only needed to concentrate on the task at hand, the strategy, and carrying it through. We only intended to bowl wide in order to force the batsman to hit the longer side and bring the long boundary into action. After the game, Arjun stated, “I love bowling. I’m happy to bowl whenever the captain asks me to, as long as I follow the team’s strategy and give it my all.

SRH batters’ lack of resistance

On Tuesday against MI, SRH’s batters visibly struggled, and a large part of their batting difficulties was brought on by their batters’ failure to get off to a strong start.
