Apple is gearing up to introduce its highly anticipated iPhone 16 series at a special event on September 9, 2024. The tech giant is expected to unveil four new models: the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. While speculation about the new phones’ features and pricing has been circulating for months, the expected launch date has now come into focus.

iPhone 16 Availability and Event Details

According to a report from MacRumors, Apple may release the iPhone 16 series in Apple Stores starting on September 20, 2024. In addition to the iPhones, Apple is expected to launch several other devices, including the Apple Watch Series 10, Watch SE 3, Watch Ultra 3, and AirPods 4. However, the availability dates for these products remain unknown.

The iPhone 16 series launch event, called “It’s Glowtime,” will be live-streamed globally, including a 10:30 p.m. start time in India. While design updates and enhanced processors are likely highlights, this event is expected to place a significant emphasis on AI features, with the iPhones running on iOS 18, which was previewed earlier this year.

iPhone 16 Series Pricing Leaked

Just hours before the launch, pricing for the iPhone 16 series was reportedly leaked online. According to Apple Hub, the base iPhone 16 model is expected to start at $799 (approx. ₹66,300), while the iPhone 16 Plus may be priced from $899 (approx. ₹74,600).

For the Pro models, the iPhone 16 Pro could start at $1,099 (approx. ₹91,200), and the high-end iPhone 16 Pro Max might have a starting price of $1,199 (approx. ₹99,500).

AI-Powered iPhones with A18 Bionic Chipsets

Apple’s new iPhone 16 series will be powered by cutting-edge chipsets. The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models are expected to feature the A18 Bionic chipset, while the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max will likely come with the more powerful A18 Pro processor.

With iOS 18 as the operating system, the new iPhones are set to introduce advanced AI features, positioning Apple ahead of competitors who may only adopt similar functionalities next year.

As Apple fans eagerly await the official unveiling, the iPhone 16 lineup is poised to set new benchmarks in smartphone technology with its blend of performance, AI innovation, and sleek design.
