Recurring Outages?
This isn’t the first time Instagram has faced such problems. On October 29, a significant outage disrupted the platform, particularly its direct messaging feature. Downdetector recorded 1,541 complaints during that period, with the issues peaking around 5:48 PM.
The data showed 48% of users faced application problems, 27% had trouble sharing content, and 25% reported server issues.
Netizens reacted by humorously posting memes on X, highlighting the trend of users shifting to the platform whenever Instagram experiences downtime.
