Many people envision an ideal workplace filled with amenities and the freedom to work at their own pace. While most workplaces may not meet those expectations, a woman’s video showcasing her experience as a corporate employee at Google in Singapore has recently gone viral for its appealing depiction.
Instagram user Kay, a Korean expat living in Singapore, shared a video detailing her daily routine at Google.

The video, titled “you can recharge at work,” starts with her metro ride to work at 8:30 AM. After arriving at the office by 9:10 AM, she logs in and takes a quick coffee break. The office coffee bar features espresso machines and freshly ground coffee. As she enjoys her latte with a foam heart, she begins her workday.
Two hours later, it’s time for lunch. The office menu includes two options: Western and Asian. The Western option consists of salmon with grains, while the Asian choice features hearty meat curry with rice. Kay notes that lunch and other services are complimentary for Google employees.
She then shows off a tempting selection of desserts and fresh fruit before using her lunch break to stroll through the rooftop garden.
“Let me show you the wellness centre,” she says as she gives a tour of a nap room, hair and nail spa, and a multi-faith room for prayers and meditation. The video concludes as she logs out of work before 6 PM.
The post has garnered over 15,000 likes, with many comments praising the workplace as a dream environment.
One user humorously inquired about the cost of working at Google: “How much are you paying a month for a job like this?” Another commented, “Wow. I really like your work area. It looks like your company takes care of all the hard-working employees,” to which Kay replied, “Yes indeed.”
