An Indigo Boeing 737 Max airline has made an emergency landing at Pakistan’s Karachi airport after a technical snag in its aircraft. The plane was on its way from Sharjah to Hyderabad, and the pilot reported a fault, after which an emergency landing was made at the Karachi airport. This is the second time in a week that an Indian airline has made an emergency landing in Pakistan.

In a statement issued by IndiGo Airlines, the pilot of the Sharjah-Hyderabad flight noticed a fault in the aircraft and was then diverted to Karachi as a precautionary measure. The company said another plane was being sent to Karachi to take the passengers to Hyderabad.

Moreover, on Wednesday, IndiGo’s plane from Delhi to Imphal carrying 141 passengers had to make an emergency landing in Kolkata. The weather in Imphal was terrible, so the aircraft had to land in Kolkata. The plane could not land in Imphal due to bad weather. With this, the plane’s fuel was also going to run out. Apart from this, on July 6, an incident of smoke rose from the cabin of IndiGo’s Raipur-Indore flight. All the passengers got off the plane safely.

However, on July 5, the aircraft of Indian airline SpiceJet also had to make an emergency landing in Karachi due to a technical fault. The plane was on its way from Delhi to Dubai, and the company had said that the aircraft had to be diverted towards Karachi due to a faulty indicator light. After this, a safe landing was made there.
