Virat Kohli and Ravi Shastri have given very good results for Team India and this team also belongs to them. Nevertheless, I agree that they do not have many favorite players in the team. Showing the way out to favorite players only shows their courage.

In India, one clashes with the team management. Or, if a player clashes with a captain who has played a lot of matches, then he too faces the same fate as Anil Kumble. It is obvious that whatever Shastri and Kohli would like in today’s era, the same will happen in the team selection.

The selectors also know that if they lose, the blame will not fall on them. With the number of matches that Virat Kohli has played today, the entire selection committee has not been able to come together.

The squad that Team India announced for the T20 World Cup has a lot of balance. It seems incomprehensible to sideline players who have been performing well, or those who have been playing in white-ball cricket for a long time.

Yuzvendra Chahal was once considered the best player of T20. Similarly, Deepak Chahar continued to play T20 cricket, his performance has also been good in this format. Maybe the selectors thought that Bhuvneshwar and Deepak Chahar are similar bowlers, but in my opinion, there is a big difference between the two.

By the way, India can make changes in the team list till October 10. I think the Indian team necessarily needs some changes. Anyway, IPL has to happen before the T20 World Cup and many players can get injured there. Some new talent may also appear. If KL Rahul has been taken as an opener in the team, then it shows that Virat Kohli will not open, even though we know that Ishan Kishan has also been opening for Mumbai Indians for quite a while now.

Ravichandran Ashwin’s entry into the team is understandable as most of the team`s openers today are left-handers. In such a situation, Ashwin’s bowling in the powerplay can prove to be very useful for India. Overall there is a team balance, even though post the IPL changes might occur.
