In the aftermath of the Kuwait City fire, the Indian envoy to Kuwait Adarsh Swaika has recently visited Al-Adan Hospital, where around 30 Indian workers were being treated on Wednesday.
While meeting the patients, he assured the injured workers for full assistance from the embassy.

As per hospital authorities, all of them are stable. The ambassador also visited Farwaniya Hospital, where he met six Indian injured workers.
Among them, 4 of them have been discharged, about the other two, one has been shifted to Jahra hospital and another is stable.

Furthermore, the ambassador, also visited Mubarak Al Kabeer hospital and mangaf to take stock of the situation and announced, that the embassy is in touch with the authorities.
Moreover, the embassy has published emergency helpline numbers and has asked concerned people to connect to these numbers for updates.

Earlier today, Foreign Minister S Jaishankar expressed profound shock regarding the tragic loss of more than 40 lives in a fire that occurred in Kuwait City.
The external minister also gave its condolences for victims and their families and wished for full recovery.
Kuwait City Tragic Incident
During early hours of Wednesday, a fire erupted in a residential complex, which accommodated laborers in Mangaf, which is located in southern Kuwait.
Following this devastating event, Deputy Prime Minister Sheikh Fahad al-Yousuf Al-Sabah personally inspected the scene and later, apprehended the property’s owner.
