Zeeshan Siddique’s Net Worth: Declared Assets of Baba Siddique’s Son Before Maharashtra Elections

Zeeshan Siddique, the son of the late NCP leader Baba Siddique, will represent the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) in the upcoming Maharashtra elections in November. Siddique, who previously served as a member of the Congress party, switched allegiance to Ajit Pawar’s NCP shortly after his father’s murder in Mumbai.

In the Maharashtra polls, Zeeshan Siddique will face off against Varun Sardesia, the Shiv Sena (UBT) candidate and nephew of former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, for the Bandra East assembly seat.

Siddique’s exit from the Congress party came after he was expelled for what they called “anti-party activities.” Allegations suggested that he voted against the party in the Maharashtra legislative council elections, which Siddique has denied.

Expressing his gratitude after joining the NCP, Zeeshan remarked, “It is an emotional day for me and my family. I am thankful to Ajit Pawar, Praful Patel, and Sunil Tatkare for believing in me in these tough times. I have got the nomination from Bandra East, and I am sure that with the love and support of all the people, I will definitely win Bandra East yet again.”

Zeeshan Siddique’s Financial Background

According to the MyNeta portal, Zeeshan Siddique has declared a net worth of ₹9 crore. His 2019 election affidavit reveals that he possesses movable assets worth ₹1.74 crore, which include shares, bank deposits, and approximately ₹4 lakh in cash.

Most of his immovable assets consist of property and residential buildings, totaling ₹7.24 crore. However, he also has liabilities amounting to ₹76 lakh. These figures are based on his 2019 affidavit and are likely to have changed since then.

Tragic Events Surrounding Siddique’s Candidacy

Zeeshan Siddique’s father, Baba Siddique, was tragically shot dead on October 12 outside his son’s office in Bandra East and later died at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital. Following the murder, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang claimed responsibility for the attack.

Police investigations revealed that Zeeshan himself was also targeted by the shooters, who are believed to have ties to a jailed gangster. During questioning, those in custody indicated that they killed Baba Siddique because he was “not a good man” and had close connections with the notorious don Dawood Ibrahim.
