The Yogi Adityanath government is gearing up to promote Uttar Pradesh (UP) as a brand and favourable tourist destination in the Tourism Expo to be held from November 6 to 9 at the World Travel Market in London.

The Yogi government has prepared a detailed action under which the Tourism Department will set up a pavilion in an area of 52 square metres at the Tourism Expo in London, said the official statement. An agency will also be appointed by the Tourism Department for the establishment and efficient operation of this pavilion.

The press release further informed that an e-bidding process was started through the e-tender portal on October 17 to select the agency that will be given the responsibility of running the program smoothly and the interested agencies can apply till October 26.

As per the intention of CM Yogi, the Tourism Department is giving maximum focus on promoting spiritual and historical heritage sites of UP in the Tourism Expo and the theme of the pavilion set up in Uttar Pradesh will be inspired by these parameters, said the official statement.

The Tourism Department of UP will display brochures and booklets related to all of the state’s heritage and famous tourist destinations at the Expo.
UP’s geographical, spiritual, and historical heritage will be presented in the pavilion, while highlighting the positive changes that have occurred in the state during Yogi’s government, particularly in terms of industry, economy, law and order, good governance, standard of living, infrastructure growth, and ease of doing business.
