The band Coldplay is one of those few rock bands that always come up with electrifying performances on stage. Fans who witnessed their performance at DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Saturday evening could be nothing but awe-inspired by the scintillating performance put together by Chris Martin and his entire team.
While most fans resorted to basking in the magic of that evening, the bad news seemed to hog most of the limelight online: one unfortunate story of a lost concert ticket- that of Coldplay fan, Prachi Singh.
As narrated by her, in a post, “Yes, so this disaster happened yesterday. We got two Coldplay tickets and were kept in a wrapper on the dining table. Today we get ready and there’s a driver waiting for us; while we leave, they don’t get anywhere to be seen. The maid said she’d thrown it when cleaning,”
The situation turned even more messy when the tickets were accidentally thrown with the garbage. Singh shared a video of sanitation workers sifting through garbage to retrieve the tickets. The caption read, “Coldplay ke tickets kachre mein chale gaye.” The video quickly went viral, garnering over a million views and sparking widespread sympathy online.

The internet was inundated with responses to Singh’s misfortune. Most people expressed disbelief and sympathy for her, such as a commentator who said, “How could this happen? What a heart-breaking story.” Another added, “What a nightmare before the concert! I feel so bad for her.
Some tried to lighten Singh’s mood by writing, “Maybe it wasn’t meant to be. Better luck next time.” Some appreciated the effort of the sanitation workers by writing, “At least the building guys were kind enough to check the garbage. Who knows, maybe the tickets will turn up after all.”
While it was a misfortune that happened to Singh, the event had its fair share of sweet moments for Coldplay’s fans. For instance, there was when Chris Martin asked one of the audience members, holding a placard which read, “I manifested this moment. I’m ready for it. Can I play Everglow with you?” to come and perform Everglow along with him.

This touching interaction went viral, with fans praising Martin’s kind gesture and celebrating the once-in-a-lifetime moment shared with the young boy.
Coldplay’s concert was more than just a musical event—it was a celebration filled with heartfelt connections and memories that fans will cherish for a lifetime. Despite Singh’s ticket mishap, the evening highlighted the band’s ability to bring people together through music and shared experiences.
