In Maharashtra’s Thane district, a 30-year-old man was rushed to the hospital after a 26-year-old woman injured his genitals with a metal spatula. The incident occurred when Anil Satyanarayan Raccha, who was intoxicated, tried to assault the woman at her home in the Bhiwandi area.
The woman, who knew Raccha, reported that he made unwanted sexual advances and exposed himself to her around 4:30 pm on Friday. To defend herself, she raised an alarm, grabbed a metal spatula from her kitchen, and struck Raccha, injuring his genitals.
Following the attack, Raccha fled to seek medical attention and was hospitalized. The woman filed a complaint with the Bhiwandi town police, leading to a case against Raccha for outraging the modesty of a woman, sexual harassment, and trespass under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
Raccha has not been arrested yet as he remains hospitalized, according to the official.
