The India Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that Delhi’s minimum temperature on Monday morning was 26 degrees Celsius. The city experienced a humid start with a relative humidity of 82 percent at 8:30 am. Delhi’s Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded at 55, placing it in the ‘satisfactory’ category, which ranges from 51 to 100.
According to the IMD, Delhi’s maximum temperature is expected to reach 35 degrees Celsius. The city is likely to have cloudy skies throughout the day, with a possibility of light rainfall.
On the previous day, Sunday, Delhi recorded a high of 36 degrees Celsius, which is 1.8 degrees above the season’s average. Some parts of the city and its surrounding areas, including Noida, also experienced rainfall.
Delhi’s AQI, as measured by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB), remained ‘satisfactory’ with a reading of 63 at 6 pm on Sunday. The relative humidity level at 5:30 pm was 63 percent. These readings indicate that while the air quality is within acceptable limits, the city’s weather continues to be humid and warm.
