Bengaluru: Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today said that no one resigned during PSI scam during BJP rule.

Speaking to reporters at Vidhana Soudha, he said, “No one took responsibility for many scams during BJP rule. Now, the BJp is trying to trouble a Dalit minister by demanding his resignation.”

“Minister Thimmapur has highlighted all the corruption during BJP rule. There is no proof of allegations made by the BJP on Thimmapur. They are all baseless allegations. The Opposition parties are trying to showcase their existence. They don’t want discussion on MGNREGA and hence they are digressing.”

“The BJP can’t digest the good work that has happened under MGNREGA. Panchayats could decide on the roks under the earlier scheme but the Centre will decide on the new scheme. It is impossible to implement this scheme even in BJP ruled states. We are ready to discuss if BJP is willing to debate,” he added.
