Rohini has filed complaints with the National Commission for Women and the Delhi Police.
Dr. Rohini Ghavari is a PhD scholar from Indore, Madhya Pradesh, currently living in Switzerland. She came into the spotlight after accusing Bhim Army chief and MP Chandrashekhar Azad of sexual harassment. She says that even after giving evidence and meeting the Delhi Police Commissioner, no action was taken. Frustrated, she threatened suicide in a social media post.
Rohini was born in Indore in a Valmiki family. Her father worked as a sanitation worker at a local hospital. Despite financial difficulties, she did very well in school and earned a scholarship to study abroad.
Rohini completed her Bachelor’s in Foreign Trade and an MBA in Marketing in India. In 2019, she received a ₹1 crore scholarship from the Indian government to pursue a PhD in Business Management at the Swiss School of Business Management in Geneva, Switzerland.
Dr. Rohini Ghavari was born on August 28, and as of today, she is 33 years old.
Rohini now lives in Switzerland, where she works and runs an NGO that focuses on social issues. Her exact net worth is not public, but her education and work suggest she is financially secure.
According to a viral video of Rohini, she used to send her expensive shoes from Switzerland.
Rohini claims that she was in a relationship with Chandrashekhar Azad for several years. She says he hid the fact that he was married and emotionally and physically exploited her.
She also alleges that he similarly treated other women. Rohini has filed complaints with the National Commission for Women and the Delhi Police.
On Wednesday, she posted on her X account, making serious allegations against Chandrasekhar. She wrote that she might take poison in his name today.
She also requested that her body not be brought back to India, claiming no one listened to her and that the guilty party was being supported. She bid her final farewell to everyone. Rohini said, “Chandrasekhar has ruined my life.” She tagged the Prime Minister’s Office and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in her post.
