Raihan Vadra is the elder son of Indian politician Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and businessman Robert Vadra. Though he belongs to one of India’s most politically influential families, Raihan has largely stayed away from the public spotlight. He has remained media-shy and has focused more on creative expression than on public appearances.

Robert Vadra is the father of Raihan Vadra. He is an Indian entrepreneur and the husband of Wayanad MP Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. Robert Vadra was born in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on 18 April 1969, to Rajendra Vadra and Maureen Vadra. His family is of Punjabi origin and had settled in Moradabad. His paternal roots trace back to Sialkot in present-day Pakistan, from where his grandfather migrated to India during Partition.

In July 2021, Raihan held his first solo art exhibition, Dark Perception, at Bikaner House in New Delhi. The exhibition explored how darkness changes perception and opens creative freedom, inspired by his experience of vision loss.

In December 2022, he presented his second exhibition, Anumana.

His third solo exhibition, Upamana, was held at Bikaner House in New Delhi in 2024. The show focused on the idea of comparison and used installations, sound, light, and visual art to explore themes such as control, choice, memory, compulsion, and emotion. Upamana is part of a planned series based on the five “pramanas”, or schools of logic, in Indian philosophy, which Raihan aims to complete over a decade.

Raihan reportedly draws inspiration from artists such as Paul Cocksedge, Daniel Arsham, Sarah van Rij, Raghu Rai, and Banksy.
