Ajeet is married to Dipashree (also known as Deepa Shree), a professional graphic designer; the two got married on May 14, 2022, and now live in Delhi. Ajeet Bharti Controversy: Comments on CJI BR Gavai & Shoe Attack

Ajeet Bharti recently created a big controversy in the wake of a courtroom drama on October 7, 2025, when an attorney tried to throw a shoe at Chief Justice BR Gavai during the Supreme Court. Bharti responded by posting on social media and commenting on his podcast, referring to CJI Gavai as “a lousy, undeserving judge,” and calling for contempt proceedings against him, stating that such events could get out of hand if “anti-Hindu” comments from judges kept coming. His remarks were widely circulated and condemned, culminating in his temporary detention and interrogation by Noida Police. Bharti subsequently made it clear that he had not been arrested. The police are said to be investigating whether his remarks constitute incitement or promotion of enmity according to Indian law.

Ajeet Bharti is seen by his supporters as a bold media face who lashes out against what he sees as bias by the establishment. Yet, his style has frequently landed him in controversies of a legal nature, such as earlier contempt cases for his remarks on the judiciary.
