The blanket ban on firecrackers was lifted by the top court a few days ago. As per the verdict by the court, residents of Delhi NCR can purchase only NEERI-approved green crackers from nine authorised sellers. With a new set of rules and regulations in place during Diwali, here are 9 locations where you can go to purchase the green crackers in Delhi NCR.

Sadar Bazar, the largest wholesale market of central Delhi, will have many environmentally friendly cracker stalls. Authorities are providing regular patrols to ensure only licensed sellers are present here with strictly NEERI-approved products.
Chandni Chowk, the busy old Delhi market, is an age-old marketplace where official green cracker sellers will be clearly seen by boards and police patrolling.
In South Delhi, Lajpat Nagar's market complex will have available green crackers retailed by local authorised dealers. The area is well-located and easily accessible, being convenient for regional shoppers.
Tilak Nagar of West Delhi is popular with festival supply centres. Green cracker stalls are available this year at assigned open spaces, with interference by local authorities to avoid illegal vendors.
Kamla Nagar in North Delhi will host several authorised cracker stalls. Police personnel and local pollution control officers will conduct frequent visits to verify the authenticity of vendors.
In Noida, there will be cracker sales at Sector 18's main market. Special banners and signage identify eco-friendly stalls, and only traders with refreshed authorised licenses will be allowed to sell green crackers.
Gurugram's busy Galleria Market is a popular destination, with a section of stalls selling exclusively green crackers. District officials keep an eye on the sales to ensure safety and compliance with the order from SC.
Faridabad's Old Railway Road market complex is another area chosen for approved sales. The area will be open to the public and will have multiple monitored stalls selling only QR-tagged, NEERI-approved goods.
A designated zone near DLF Mall of India's principal entrance in Noida will have certified cracker stalls. The contemporary venue offers convenient parking and proper signage for public safety as well as convenience.
Authorities will keep a close watch on the sale and purchase of firecrackers this Diwali. It has been clearly mentioned that any non-green firecracker will be immediately sealed. In addition, the legal window to burst firecrackers has also been kept limited to a few hours. Residents can burst crackers during Diwali and the day before, between 6 to 7 AM and 8 to 10 PM.
