A six year old was reportedly saved by a group of monkeys from getting raped in Uttar Pradesh’s Bhagpat. As per the media reports, the incident took place on Saturday. the accused lured the child to an abandoned house in the city with the intention of raping her, reportedly.
As per The Times Of India, the UKG student disclosed all the details to her family and how she was saved by the monkeys.
According to the parents, the kid was playing outside the house when she was targetted by the accused and was taken to the abandoned house. He took her loths off and attempted to sexually assault her. She was saved by a group of monkeys who aggressively attacked the man forcing him to flee the scene.
“My daughter was playing outside when the accused took her away. The man could be seen in nearby CCTV footage, walking on a narrow lane with my daughter. He is yet to be identified though. He also threatened my child that he would kill me… My daughter would have been dead by now if the monkeys had not intervened,” her father said.
After the incident came to light, the parents reported it to the nearest policed station. Reportedly an FIR was registered under BNS sections 74 (assault or criminal force to woman with intent to outrage her modesty), 76 (assault or use of criminal force to woman with intent to disrobe) and the Pocso Act against the accused.
