Watch: Sexual Assault In Noida, Woman Claims Police Asked ‘Why Out At 7:30?’

A woman in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, has accused a man of sexually assaulting her in the Sector 48 area. According to her report, she was filming a video in the rain outside her home when a stranger approached her and tore her shorts. The assault was interrupted when two young girls intervened, causing the attacker to flee.

The victim went to the Sector 49 police station to file a complaint, but she claims that the officers there refused to register an FIR. Instead, they questioned her decision to be out in the rain at that hour.

She also sought to collect evidence by reviewing CCTV footage from her gated community, only to find that many of the cameras were not functioning.
