Watch: Salman Khan Publicly Backing Late Friend Baba Siddique At BJP Rally

Salman Khan once openly supported his late friend Baba Siddique during a BJP rally, leaving many surprised. Baba Siddique, an NCP leader, was tragically murdered on October 12, 2024, during Dussehra celebrations in front of his son, Zeeshan Siddique’s office in Bandra. Reports suggest the Lawrence Bishnoi gang orchestrated the killing, with speculation about a connection to threats against Salman Khan. The bond between Salman and Baba Siddique, however, was well-known, with both standing by each other.

An old video of Salman Khan supporting Baba Siddique at an election rally has resurfaced, sparking conversations. In the clip, Salman, campaigning for BJP in Gujarat alongside Narendra Modi, urged voters to choose the best candidate for their constituency. He emphasized that while he supported Baba Siddique and Priya Dutt from his Bandra constituency, others should vote for Modi if he was the right choice for them. Salman stated:

“Jo best man hai aapke liye aapki constituency ke andar, aap usko vote dijiye. Aapke liye Modi ji best man hai aapki constituency ke liye. Humari jo constituency jo hai Bandra, jaha par mera kartavya hota hai ki main vote dun wo hai Baba Siddique aur Priya Dutt. I have to give my people the vote. I know ki wo kaam karte hain.”

Salman’s speech, endorsing his friend from a rival party, left many in disbelief. Narendra Modi, present on stage, chose not to intervene and allowed Salman to finish his remarks. This public display of support highlighted Salman’s loyalty to Baba Siddique, despite political differences.

Following the news of Baba Siddique’s death, Salman Khan was one of the first to visit the family at the hospital. Reports indicate that he was filming for *Bigg Boss 18* but rushed to the hospital upon hearing the news. A video of Salman looking visibly shaken has since gone viral.

Baba Siddique was fatally shot by three attackers near his son’s office, with multiple bullets fired, one hitting his chest. The attack appeared premeditated, occurring amidst Dussehra celebrations and fireworks.
