Rahul Gandhi, the leader of the INDIA Alliance, found himself at the center of online jokes following an awkward moment during an interview. In a recent interaction, Gandhi tried to correct a question posed to him regarding the full form of the opposition bloc, but his response only added to the confusion.
When asked about the name of the alliance, the interviewer referred to it as “I.N.D.I Alliance,” suggesting a misinterpretation. Rahul Gandhi quickly corrected the statement, saying, “It’s not I.N.D.I Alliance, that’s BJP framing… we are INDIA Alliance.” However, when the interviewer pressed further, asking what the last ‘A’ in “INDIA” stands for, Gandhi confidently responded, “Alliance,” much to the amusement of viewers.
This slip-up quickly went viral, with social media users, including the popular Twitter account JanNalayak, mocking the incident. A tweet from the account read, “International beizzati karwane gaya hai” along with the clip of the blunder, accompanied by emojis of laughter and a skull.
