Watch: PM Modi & Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina Jointly Address The Press

Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi, along with Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina issued a joint statement to the press on Friday.

While issuing the statement, PM Modi talked about the relationship between two countries and the initiatives taken to enhance the relationship in the last one year.

He also said that today’s meeting is special because Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina is the first foreign guest to visit India, after government’s formation for the third time.

Earlier, at Delhi’s Hyderabad house, both PM Modi and Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina conducted a delegation-level meeting at Delhi’s Hyderabad House and later, signed MoUs and agreements in both their presence.

During the course of the visit, several joint initiatives aimed at enhancing mutual growth and regional cooperation were unveiled.
