In a remarkable turn of events, Bhim Singh, a resident of Uttar Pradesh, was reunited with his family nearly 30 years after being abducted and forced into bonded labor. Reflecting on his traumatic experiences, Bhim Singh recalled that he was kidnapped by strangers while returning from school and taken to Jaisalmer, Rajasthan, where he was forced to work as a bonded laborer for several years. He said he was made to tend to sheep and goats in a village.

Singh described how the kidnappers provided him with food only once a day and often subjected him to physical abuse. However, one day, a kind-hearted individual took notice of his condition and dropped him off in Ghaziabad. With the help of the police, Singh was finally able to reunite with his family.
