Uttarakhand state prepares to welcome a two-day G20 summit beginning today

A delegation of foreign guests will arrive at Pantnagar airport in Uttarakhand this afternoon to participate in the G20 meeting scheduled for March 28-30 in Ramnagar.
Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said on Monday that adequate security preparations have been made for the upcoming G20 meeting in Ramnagar, despite threats from the public and state government officials to boycott the event.
Roads outside the airport have been decorated to give international visitors a taste of the state’s culture.
According to them, the guests will have lunch at Radiance Blue in Rudrapur.
“All administrative and security preparations for the G20 summit have been completed,” CM Dhami told the media on Monday.
“Police officers have been instructed. “Every activity is being monitored by the home department, police headquarters, and security agencies,” he added.
Earlier on Sunday, a pre-recorded audio from Sikhs for Justice (SFJ), a secessionist pro-Khalistan organization, emerged on social media, calling for a boycott of the G20 meetings in Ramnagar.
In the audio, SFJ president Gurpatwant Singh Pannu threatened to replace Indian flags with Khalistani flags at the G20 meeting, saying that Ramnagar is part of Khalistan, not India.
SFJ President Pannu issued a similar call earlier this month to boycott G20 meetings in Amritsar, claiming that Amritsar is part of Khalistan. The G20 summit in Amritsar ended on March 17 amid tight security.
The G20 meeting will be held in Ramnagar from March 28 to 30. 70 international guests and 30 Indian officials will attend the three-day G20 meeting in Ramnagar.
