Uttarakhand CM assigns new appointees to state leaders

In advance of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the Uttarakhand government, led by Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, announced the names of candidates who have been given new duties in the state. Director General Information Banshidhar Tiwari stated in a statement from the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) that CM Dhami has chosen to assign responsibilities to ten leaders who will serve the public good.

Jyoti Prasad Gairola, a former BJP leader in Uttarakhand, has been chosen to serve as the vice president of the state-level Twenty-Point Programme Implementation Committee. Ramesh Gadia will be in charge of the State Level Watershed Council as Vice President, Madhu Bhatt will be in charge of the Uttarakhand Sanskrit Literature and Arts Council as Vice President, and Mufti Shamoon Qasmi will be in charge of the Uttarakhand Madrassa Education Council as President.

Balraj Pasi has been appointed as President of the Uttarakhand State Seed and Organic Products Certification Institute, Suresh Bhatt as Vice President of the Level National Rural Health and Monitoring Council, and Anil Dabbu as Chairman of the Agricultural Production and Marketing Board (Mandi).
