US envoy Eric Garcetti hails India’s developmental journey

The US Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, commended India’s progress, stating that those interested in witnessing the future should visit India, emphasizing the privilege he feels in leading the US mission there. He also acknowledged the diversity of customs between nations but highlighted the collaborative effort towards a unified vision. Furthermore, he praised IPE Global for promoting gender equality and underscored the importance of inclusivity in their initiatives.

Similarly, former Niti Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant lauded IPE Global for its impactful work across various sectors, particularly in improving human lives. He also appreciated the organization’s focus on the Global South, aligning with India’s efforts during its G20 Presidency to advocate for the region’s interests. Kant emphasized the significance of consensus-building on crucial issues such as sustainable development goals, multilateral institution reform, and women’s leadership.

Additionally, he acknowledged the United States’ support during India’s G20 Presidency, highlighting the successful hosting of the summit and the historic inclusion of the African Union as a permanent member. The G20 summit adopted the New Delhi Declaration, reflecting global unity on issues like the Russia-Ukraine conflict. Throughout India’s presidency, prioritizing the voices of the Global South and fostering international cooperation were central themes, epitomized by the Sanskrit motto “Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam” – One Earth, One Family, One Future.
