UPSC NDA/NA 2, CDS 2 Admit Cards 2025 Released: Schedule, Timings & Key Instructions

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has issued the admit cards for the National Defence Academy (NDA/NA 2) and Combined Defence Services (CDS 2) exams scheduled for September 14, 2025. Thousands of aspirants who dream of joining India’s armed forces will now enter the final stage of preparation.

While downloading an admit card may look like a simple step, for many candidates, it is a reminder that the countdown to one of the toughest competitive exams in the country has begun. 

How to Download Your Admit Card?

• Visit the official UPSC website: upsc.gov.in.
• Click on the relevant ‘E-admit card’ link (CDS II or NDA II).
• Log in using your registration or roll number and date of birth.
• Your admit card appears on screen—download and print it. Keep it safe.
• Check details like name, roll number, exam centre, and timings.

What to Carry & Not Carry?

Allowed items:

• Printed admit card
• Valid photo ID
• Black ball-point pen
• Any item listed under “Important Instructions” on the admit card

Prohibited Items: 

• Mobile phones, smart watches, and electronic gadgets
• Bags, books, or valuables
• If your admit card photo is unclear or missing details, bring three passport-size photos (with your name and photo date) along with a photo ID and a written undertaking.

Know the Exam Schedule

• CDS 2 Exam – September 14, 2025
• English: 9:00 AM–11:00 AM
• General Knowledge: 12:30 PM–2:30 PM
• Elementary Mathematics: 4:00 PM–6:00 PM
• NDA/NA 2 Exam – September 14, 2025
• First Session (Mathematics): 10:00 AM–12:30 PM
• Second Session (General Ability Test): 2:00 PM–4:30 PM

Candidates must reach the test centre at least 30 minutes early to complete entry formalities.

Timely Release Eases Candidate Stress

The timely release of admit cards, more than a week before the exam, helps reduce last-minute panic. It gives candidates time to check details, resolve issues, and plan travel. UPSC has also clarified that if the photograph on the admit card is unclear, candidates must carry a valid photo ID along with three passport-sized photographs.
