The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has declared the final results for the Indian Economic Service (IES) and Indian Statistical Service (ISS) exams in 2023. The results are available on the official website, including the merit list.
Nikhil Sindh secured the top position in the ISS exam, while Nishchal Mittal emerged as the topper in the IES exam.
The examinations for both services took place from June 23 to 25, followed by interviews conducted from December 18 to 21 for the shortlisted candidates. UPSC recommended 18 candidates for IES positions and 33 for ISS positions. However, results for seven candidates (3 in IES and 4 in ISS) are provisional. These candidates will receive the offer of appointment only after the verification of original documents, and the provisional status clarification. The validity of the results for these candidates is three months, and failure to produce the required documents will result in the cancellation of their candidature, as specified by the UPSC.
The candidates’ marks will be available on the website within fifteen days from the date of the results announcement.
