UP: Fire breaks out in transformer in Ghaziabad's Khora Colony, no casualties reported

Ghaziabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India], June 30 (ANI): A fire broke out in a transformer in Khora Colony of Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad on Tuesday, as per the Fire Department.

The Chief Fire Officer, Rahul Kumar, said the Vaishali fire station received information about the transformer fire in Adarsh Nagar, Khora village, following which fire personnel rushed to the scene.

Speaking to ANI, Kumar said, “The Vaishali fire station received information that a transformer had caught fire in Adarsh Nagar, Khora village… As a precautionary measure, nearby houses were evacuated. There has been no loss of life in this incident. The fire has been brought under control.”

Fire officials said the blaze was contained in time, and no casualties were reported in the incident.
