As several regions of Uttar Pradesh witnessed incessant rains in the past couple of days leading to heavy water logging in cities and disrupting normal life, UP Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak has said that the government is making all possible efforts to bring things back to normal.
Arrangements to de-clog waterlogged areas and food for the affected people are being made along with the other necessary items and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath himself has given direction for the same.
“The government is working in the heavy rainfall affected areas. The arrangements to de-clog waterlogged areas have been made and food is being provided to the victims. CM has called for meetings. Hospitals and the electricity board have been put on alert,” said Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak on Tuesday while speaking to ANI.
Incessant rainfall had led to heavy waterlogging in several areas of Lucknow on Monday morning. Residents faced problems in the lower areas of Sadar in the district due to waterlogging and road subsidence.
As the monsoon season continues, people in the affected areas are advised to exercise caution and follow safety guidelines to stay safe amidst inclement weather.
