Former Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Uma Bharti has expressed content over Union Ministers contesting elections in the state. Uma has said, “Our party has fielded some Union Ministers and MPs in the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh, congratulations on this decision. All these names will create such waves in their respective areas that the entire state will benefit in the assembly elections.”
Uma Bharti has welcomed all these leaders. Along with this, she tweeted about her own contesting elections and said that while referring to a newspaper, it had been written that she would contest the assembly elections in Madhya Pradesh.
“This causes me a lot of trouble and embarrassment… because it is not true. Through this tweet, I am telling all my well-wishers, including both television and print media. I request the editors that your reporters should not discuss or ask questions about my assembly or Lok Sabha elections. I am an ordinary human being, my only request to you is that please bless me so that the principles I believe in may prevail.”
Not only this, she further wrote that “I had not gone to Badri-Kedar and the Himalayas last year because I was involved in the liquor ban campaign here. This year, I am anxious to go to the Himalayas and Badri-Kedar for some time in the month of Kartik. It’s just that simple thing.” She further wrote that “Many political parties and social service organizations are trying for OBC reservation in women’s reservation, I also have faith in this which is beyond politics.” What Uma Bharti means will only be clear with time as the election campaign starts.
