Uddhav Thackeray, leader of the Shiv Sena (UBT), met Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday and assured him of his party’s support in Parliament for the Centre’s rule limiting bureaucrat transfers and postings in the national capital.
At a press conference following their meeting in Mumbai, Thackeray lashed out at the Centre, claiming that the opposition is banding together to “save the country and democracy.”
“I think we should not be called ‘opposition’ parties in fact they (Centre) should be called ‘opposition’ since they are against Democracy and Constitution,” Uddhav Thackeray added.
