A tragic accident occurred early on Saturday morning in Mumbai, resulting in the death of one person and severe injury to another. According to Mumbai police, the two individuals were workers from the Mulund Cha Raja Ganpati Mandal and were struck by a speeding car at around 4 AM.
The incident took place during the second day of the Ganesh Chaturthi festival, leading to one worker’s death while the other remains in critical condition. Authorities have begun investigating the case, and the Navghar police station has registered a complaint.
In a statement, the Mumbai Police said, “Two workers of Mulund Cha Raja Ganpati Mandal were hit by a speeding car, one died and one is in critical condition. The incident happened at 4:00 am. Police have registered a case and are searching for the car driver.”
