Overall, this year, a total of 3,589 fines were issued on Holi, while last year, a total of 7,643 fines were issued, which is more than double compared to this year.
The biggest relief this year was that road accidents on Holi significantly decreased. They were also less than half compared to last year. Last year, there were a total of 24 accidents on Holi, while this year, there were only 11 accidents. As a result, there was also a significant reduction in fatal road accidents, and the roads were safer during Holi.
