Thief Steals Girl’s Phone Through Train Window: ‘Mera Phone…’ | Watch

A shocking video has emerged online, depicting a thief snatching a girl’s mobile phone through a train window at night, raising alarms about public transportation safety.

The footage shows the thief hanging from the train window, forcefully taking the young girl’s phone. Despite her frantic efforts to retain it, the thief successfully steals the phone and flees. Another girl seated across from her watches in disbelief as the incident unfolds.

The authenticity of the viral video has not been independently verified by HT.com.

In the video, the upset girl is heard yelling, “Chhod mera phone” (leave my phone), and as the thief escapes, she cries out, “mera phone le gaya” (he took my phone), but by then, it was too late. The entire episode has since gone viral on various social media platforms.

The video has ignited widespread concern regarding the safety of passengers using public transport. Many netizens have voiced their fears about the vulnerability of commuters, particularly women, in these situations.

One user remarked, “How can someone just snatch a phone like that? This is terrifying.” Another added, “I feel unsafe travelling now, especially late at night.”

Others expressed their frustration towards authorities, with one person stating, “Why isn’t there proper surveillance at train stations? This is unacceptable.” Meanwhile, some pointed to a broader issue of crime in the area, with another user noting, “This isn’t the first time such an incident has happened. Something needs to change.”

Two users were split on the video’s authenticity. One commented, “This looks staged, but if it’s real, it’s truly scary,” while another simply stated, “Real or fake, it’s a wake-up call for everyone.”
