The BJP has not yet given up its efforts to form a government in Delhi, and the party is focused on exposing the poor governance of the AAP-led government, said former Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta.
Speaking on the concluding day of the three-day Manch 23 political conclave organised by ITV Network, he said some of the key green projects, including the world’s largest eco-park in Badarpur, have been supported by the BJP-led Union government.
He also slammed the AAP government for failing to check the pollution coming to Delhi due to the burning of stubble in Punjab.
On the question of why the BJP has failed to form a government in Delhi, former Delhi BJP chief Adesh Gupta said the AAP government has been misled through false advertisements and fake claims. He added, “The BJP will continue to work on the road against the scams of the Aam Adami Party. Pollution in Delhi shows the incompetence of the AAP government. Not only this senior citizen of Kijeriwal constituency was not getting their pension. Their three ministers are in jail because of the scams. “
Gupta said Delhiites have now become aware of the false propaganda made by the AAP government, and people will not be attracted by their fake promises. So the BJP will win the upcoming assembly election in Delhi.
On the other hand, Delhi Congressman Arvinder Singh Lovely said on Friday that the city has been suffering due to the poor governance of the AAP. He said over the last 10 years, Congress has been paying a heavy cost for its mistakes by being forced out of power, but the non-governance of the city government and the Union government has made it unlivable due to bad air.
