A day after strongly opposing the Centre in response to the Supreme Court’s decision favoring the AAP in the Chandigarh mayoral polls, Arvind Kejriwal, the party’s national convenor and Delhi Chief Minister, launched a scathing attack on the BJP.

He accused them once again of attempting to lure his MLAs with substantial monetary offers to overthrow elected governments in Opposition-ruled states.
Addressing the Delhi Assembly on Wednesday, Kejriwal expressed his concerns about the prevalence of ‘Adharma’ (immorality) in the system. He questioned whether truth and honesty still had a place in society, especially when faced with the pervasive influence of immorality.

Kejriwal highlighted the challenges faced by good people who lose faith in the political class due to the rampant spread of immorality, stating, “At such times, God restores our faith in the system and the virtues of honesty and probity by removing rotten elements.” Reiterating his accusations against the ruling party at the Centre, Kejriwal claimed that attempts were being made to topple elected governments in Opposition-ruled states. He asserted that BJP had offered Rs 25 crore to each of their MLAs to switch sides, further fueling tensions between the two political
factions.
