Telangana: BRS Govt backtracked from bid of VSP due to bad financial situation

Telangana state BJP official spokesperson N V Subhash today alleged that BRS government which had made hue and cry on the Expression of Interest (EoP) of Visakhapatnam Steel Plant (VSP) has backtracked in participating bid after realising its deteriorating financial position.

Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao’s minister son KTR blamed Narendra Modi government by levelling baseless and unwarranted allegations that centre wanted to handover VSP to an industrialist and he had expressed his eagerness to participate in the bid. But KTR kept silent after knowing that the state financial situation is very bad and it cannot invest crores of rupees in VSP, Subhash accused.

In fact, the foundation of Telangana state ruling party itself laid on “lie bricks’’
and its leaders had built high rise buildings on this foundation without knowing the reality of its strength that will come down like a pack of cards, the BJP leader.
