Tejashwi slams PM over Rozgar Mela, asks how many job have they given

Tejashwi Yadav, Bihar Deputy Chief Minister took a dig at PM Modi on Tuesday over the distribution of appointment letters through the ‘Rozgar Mela.’

The Rashtriya Janata Dal leader in a jibe at PM Modi said, “How many jobs are they (BJP government) giving to the people of this country?” PM Modi distributed 71,056 appointment letters to recruits via video conferencing. PM Modi claims the Rozgar Mela aims at showing the Centre’s commitment to providing government jobs to the youth.

Tejashwi said, “Despite providing appointment letters, the central government has been unable to provide jobs to the country’s youth.”
Earlier this month, the Bihar government nominated 11,329 new panchayat secretaries. In November, appointment letters for 10,459 new police recruits were also distributed.
Over 75,000 central government officials received appointment letters from the PM in October as part of the Rozgar Mela.
Tejashwi responded, “How many jobs have they given to the vast population of this country,” in response to Samrat Choudhary, the leader of the BJP’s opposition in the Bihar Assembly, who claimed that only a small number of the state’s 11,329 new panchayat secretaries had received appointment letters.
He continued to criticise the BJP, claiming that people who preached violence were now making baseless accusations against his administration.

Tejashwi responded, “He will be departing for Singapore by the end of this month for his treatment,” in response to a question regarding his father, former chief minister Lalu Prasad Yadav, who will receive a kidney transplant from his daughter.
The RJD head has not been feeling well lately, and the medical professionals caring for him recently suggested a kidney transplant.
The former chief minister will travel to Singapore for the kidney transplant and get a kidney from his daughter Rohini.
