Tana Agyang View Point in Ziro inaugurated by AP CM Khandu

Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu opened the Tana Agyang View Point at Ziro in the state’s lower Subansiri district on Wednesday.
On Wednesday, the CM made a formal visit to the districts of Lower Subansiri, Kamle, Upper Subansiri, West Siang, and Shi Yomi.
The project, which overlooks the Tahing Lampii cave, has been executed by Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Act (MGNREGA) job cardholders in collaboration with the Tayang Sukung and Nago Arang gram panchayats. The innovative, revenue-generating strategy supported by Habung Welfare Society is an excellent example of a community-driven convergence mode.

The chief minister advocated for the convergence mode in project execution, claiming that it not only encourages local community involvement but also reduces the waste of public funds.
“If this same project had been implemented solely by the state government by the old way of implementing projects,” he observed, “it would have cost the government exchequer not less than a crore.”

Khandu promised that the promised fund for site development would be released shortly.
He stated that once the project has been further developed and finished, he will welcome members of other communities to visit for a case study on the convergence model.
“The convergence model is the best way to go.” The remainder of the communities should learn how to use this model to develop their respective areas. For years, I have advocated for a convergence model with all executing agents of government departments, district administrations, and community leaders,” Khandu stated.

He also released a case study report on the complete convergence mode involved in the project’s implementation.
Local legislator and agriculture minister Tage Taki, tourism adviser Laisam Simai, and a who’s who of district administration, Panchayati Raj, and Habung Welfare Society members were also in attendance.
