Swami Chaitanyananda Saraswati, the 62-year-old former chairman of Sri Sharada Institute, has been arrested for allegedly molesting over 17 students. Newly surfaced WhatsApp chats reveal a pattern of harassment, manipulation, and false job promises to female students.

WhatsApp chats attributed to him suggest a disturbing pattern of harassment and manipulation of women students.

One chat reportedly shows him asking a student to arrange a “sex partner” for a Dubai king. “Do you have a nice friend?” he asked. When the student refused, he persisted, asking “how is this possible” and requesting a “classmate” or a “junior.” The chats were accessed by NDTV.

Chaitanyananda Saraswati Arrest and Police Findings

Chaitanyananda was arrested from a hotel in Agra on Sunday after evading arrest for several days. Police earlier said his phone contained secret photos of female students. Three phones and other devices are now under investigation.

A police officer, speaking on condition of anonymity, said, “We checked his phone and found that he had made his office like a hotel suite. He would give gifts, phones, laptops, jewellery, and would take students for foreign trips.”

The officer added that he asked female students to send photos while doing yoga. He also allegedly deceived women by promising them jobs as air hostesses.

Ongoing Manipulation

Investigators revealed that Chaitanyananda continued chatting with students even while on the run. “He would also talk to women and lure them with a promise of jobs. He was using a London-based mobile number for his WhatsApp and other apps to communicate with girls,” one investigator said.

Multiple chats reportedly show him sending inappropriate emojis and asking women to “seduce” him. He also had photos of air hostesses and screenshots of students’ display pictures saved on his devices, the investigator added.

Serious Allegations and Investigation

The revelations point to a systematic attempt to manipulate and exploit young women. Police are scanning all devices linked to Chaitanyananda to uncover further evidence.

Authorities continue to investigate the godman’s network and the full extent of his harassment. The case has sparked outrage, with calls for strict action against him and anyone involved in aiding his crimes.

The investigation remains ongoing, and more details are expected as authorities examine his phones, chat records, and other evidence.
