Supreme Court Adjourns Hearing on Arvind Kejriwal’s Petition Challenging CBI Arrest

The Supreme Court has adjourned the hearing of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s petition contesting his arrest by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the Delhi excise policy case. The next hearing is scheduled for September 5.

Kejriwal’s petition challenges the legality of his arrest and the procedures followed by the CBI in the investigation related to the excise policy. The adjournment means that the court will not issue a ruling on the matter until the rescheduled hearing date.

The Delhi Chief Minister has maintained that the charges against him are politically motivated and has sought relief from the Supreme Court to address his grievances regarding the arrest and ongoing investigation.

The case continues to attract significant attention, with political and legal implications closely followed by various stakeholders.
